2023 Telecommunications Risk Factor Survey report

This report analyses the most widely reported risks for telecoms companies across the globe in 2022 -2023 which were reported in the companies’ annual reports. This year 63 companies were analysed compared to 49 in 2022. 46% were in EMEA, 35% in Americas and 19% in APAC.
The Survey explores the risks, challenges, and opportunities facing telecoms across the globe. It charts how the industry’s view of specific risks has evolved and what approaches, strategies and initiatives companies deploy to eliminate or mitigate them. We examine how the telecoms industry views both its current and future state. Through its analysis, industry insiders, companies, investors, and interested parties can gain insights into what drives business decisions, investment strategies, and strategic initiatives across the telecom industry during challenging times.
In the 2022 edition, 46 risk factors were collected and analysed. This year, we uncovered an additional 7 risk factors, totalling 53.
