Andreas Barckow appointed as IASB chair from July 2021

Andreas Barckow, the current President of the Accounting Standards Committee of Germany, has been appointed as Chair of the IASB from July 2021, succeeding Hans Hoogervorst, the current IASB chair. Mr. Hoogervorst will complete his second 5-year term at the end of June 2021.
