Three European Supervisory Authorities issue consultation paper on ESG disclosure standards

ESMA (European Securities and Markets Authority), EBA (European Banking Authority) and EIOPA (European Insurance and Occupational Pension Authority) have issued a joint consultation paper on proposed ESG (environmental social and governance) disclosure standards for financial market participants, advisers and products.
The authorities welcome feedback on the consultation by 1 September 2020.
