Sustainability project: Information and meeting summaries available for the Technical Readiness Working Group formed by IFRS Foundation

The Trustees of the IFRS Foundation have created a Technical Readiness Working Group (TRWG) of leading organisations with expertise in sustainability and integrated reporting standard-setting focused on meeting investors’ needs.
The TRWG will be chaired by the IFRS Foundation. Its participants include Climate Disclosure Standards Board (CDSB), Financial Stability Board's Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD), the IASB, Value Reporting Foundation and World Economic Forum.
The participants of the TRWG will meet regularly for three types of meetings:
- Strategic meetings
- Operational and technical meetings
- Working-level meetings
IOSCO and IPSASB will participate as observers at the Operational and Technical meetings when such meetings are focused on review of technical observations and proposals. The TRWG will also liaise closely with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and CDP on technical matters.
