June 2021 IFRIC Update available

The IFRS Interpretations Committee met on 8-9 June 2021. The meeting update is now available.

The Committee discussed the following matters and tentatively decided not to add standard-setting projects to the work plan.

• TLTRO III Transactions (IFRS 9 Financial Instruments and IAS 20 Accounting for Government Grants and Disclosure of Government Assistance)
• Economic Benefits from Use of a Windfarm (IFRS 16 Leases)

Comments on the above tentative agenda decisions may be submitted by 16 August 2021.

The Committee considered the feedback on the following tentative agenda decisions published in February 2021 IFRIC Update.

• Costs Necessary to Sell Inventories (IAS 2 Inventories)
• Preparation of Financial Statements when an Entity is No Longer a Going Concern (IAS 10 Events after the Reporting Period)

The Committee reached its conclusion on the above agenda decisions. The IASB will consider these agenda decisions at its June 2021 meeting and if it does not object to the agenda decisions, the decisions will be published in June 2021 in an addendum to this IFRIC Update.
