IFRS Interpretations Committee meeting January 2018

The IFRS Interpretations Committee (IC) held its January 2018 meeting on 16th January 2017.
The substantive matter on the agenda dealt with transactions in which an entity contributes property, plant and equipment in return for an interest in that associate, with the IC confirming the tentative agenda decision reached at its September 2017 meeting (details of which are in BDO’s IFR Bulletin 2017/10 here) not to add a topic on this matter to its agenda setting agenda.
