IASB Completes Discussions on Amendments to IFRS 17 and Instructs Staff to Begin Exposure Draft Process

At their 9-11 April 2019 meeting, the IASB completed their discussions on potential amendments to IFRS 17, Insurance Contracts. IASB staff will now begin drafting the exposure draft, with an expected issuance date of June 2019. The length of the comment period will be discussed at the May 2019 IASB meeting.
